Joan Kasozi

Joan is a lawyer Partner at Cambridge LLP. She practices within the business litigation, cross-border litigation and constitutional advocacy groups at Cambridge LLP. She has appeared at various levels of court including the Ontario Superior Court, Divisional Court and the Court of Appeals for Ontario, New Brunswick and British Columbia. Joan has been involved in complex multijurisdictional litigation addressing both public and private international law issues.

In 2020, Joan was elected to the Canadian Council on International Law (“CCIL”) Board of Directors and received the African Scholar Award from the University of Toronto.
Joan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Political Science with a minor in French from the University of Toronto. Subsequent to receiving her undergraduate degree, Ms. Kasozi obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and thereafter an LL.M from Osgoode Hall Law School.
