Joshua was called to the bar in 2025 and rejoined Cambridge after completing his articles with the business and constitutional advocacy litigation groups.

During his articles, he drafted extensively for matters in defamation, professional negligence, statutory appeals, as well as real estate and business disputes, which remain his focus areas. Joshua also appeared before the Landlord and Tenant Tribunal and Small Claims Court, and drew on his academic experience for complex research projects for Cambridge’s constitutional advocacy matters.

Joshua holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University, where he received multiple awards, including the De Grandpré Chait LLP Price for excellence in real estate law, and served as a research assistant in the field of comparative family property. He also holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from York University and is an avid reader, yet credits his choice of litigation to his practical side, having worked for many years as a carpenter between academic pursuits.
