Queenie Cheung is a lawyer in the Chinese Services Group at Cambridge LLP. Before joining the firm, she worked extensively with international law firms in Toronto, Beijing, and Hong Kong. Her cross-border legal background enables her to provide strategic, practical, and culturally attuned advice on complex commercial and international disputes.
Queenie advises international investors, entrepreneurs, and corporations in matters involving shareholder conflicts, investment recovery, and cross-border commercial litigation across Canada, Hong Kong, and Mainland China. She is known for her solution-oriented approach, attention to detail, and ability to bridge legal and cultural differences to help clients achieve effective outcomes.
Actively engaged in international arbitration, Queenie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and serves as a panel arbitrator for the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP). She has co-authored publications on arbitration law with globally recognized arbitrators and academics.
Committed to advancing the arbitration community, Queenie regularly serves as an arbitrator at the Willem C. Vis Moot and Vis East Moot, and is an active member of ArbitralWomen.
