Tony is an associate in the Estate Planning & Administration Group at Cambridge LLP. His practice focuses on wills, trusts, estate planning, and estate administration.
He advises clients on a wide range of matters, from structuring estate plans involving corporate assets to helping families plan for beneficiaries with disabilities. Tony brings a compassionate and practical approach to his work, particularly when guiding clients through the estate administration process following the loss of a loved one.
Tony joined Cambridge LLP from a prominent full-service law firm, where he worked on complex estate planning and administration matters. He previously practiced at a boutique firm with a focus on disability-related planning, including Henson trusts, and began his career at a leading estate litigation firm, where he gained experience in capacity disputes, guardianship issues, and will challenges. This background informs his current approach, with an emphasis on foresight, risk mitigation, and careful planning.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, majoring in English and Political Science.
Outside of his practice, Tony enjoys travelling, following Toronto sports teams, watching stand-up comedy, and training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He is fluent in Cantonese.
