Leon is an experienced lawyer/Partner in the Cross-Border Litigation and Business/Civil Litigation Groups at Cambridge LLP. Leon also leads the firm’s Chinese Services Group (CSG) which has successfully provided litigation and dispute resolution services to hundreds of Chinese businesses and individuals both in Canada and in China.
Leon has extensive experience providing legal services to the Chinese communities. Leon practices Canada-wide under the National Mobility Agreement* and is called to the bar in the province of Ontario. Originally from Beijing, Leon’s Chinese cultural and language fluency, coupled with his Canadian legal expertise, uniquely positions him and our Chinese Services Group to provide the most effective and personal services to Chinese businesses and individuals.
Leon holds a J.D. Degree and an LL.M. Degree in international business law, both from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in political science from Beijing International Studies University. Leon has full proficiency in Mandarin and English.
*Under the National Mobility Agreement, Lawyers can practice in all of Canada’s common law provinces, this includes all Canadian Provinces except Quebec.
