Ruzbeh Hosseini is a partner in the firm’s Business Litigation and Cross-Border Litigation Groups. He regularly advises on litigation strategy and has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Ruzbeh’s practice spans a wide range of commercial disputes, including partnership and shareholder conflicts, joint venture breakdowns, franchisee claims, construction litigation, contract disputes, and the enforcement of both domestic and foreign judgments. He is also experienced in international arbitration and the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards in Canadian courts.
Ruzbeh holds a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law and an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
In addition to his courtroom experience, Ruzbeh has completed Canada’s gold-standard training for certification as a qualified arbitrator. He is frequently involved in mediation and arbitral proceedings, bringing a practical, strategic approach to dispute resolution.
